What to do with the manure of a 200-head cattle farm?
We all know that a cow can produce dung at least 20kg per day, so the annual output of 200 cows should reach at least about 1,500 tons. Next, I will introduce to you how a 200-head cattle farm makes cow dung organic fertilizer?
1. Determine the addition ratio of cow dung and auxiliary materials: When composting cow dung organic fertilizer, the amount of auxiliary materials added will generally reach 30% to 50% of the overall fermentation quantity. The final moisture content should be 50% ~ 60%.
2.Pulverize auxiliary materials for use: The straw pulverizer can pulverize organic fertilizer materials with a moisture content of less than 45%, and has a wide range of applications. The stalks of the crushed straw and sorghum stalk are short, which will not affect the turning operation of the organic fertilizer turner in the later stage. At the same time, it can expand the contact area with the air and beneficial fermenting bacteria, and play a role in promoting rapid fermentation.
3. Add cow dung organic fertilizer fermentation inoculant: A part of the auxiliary materials and fermentation inoculum that have been pulverized by the pulverizer are mixed evenly with the help of a horizontal mixer, and then spread on the surface of the cow dung material to be decomposed.
4.Heating up and turning: When the thermometer shows that the temperature is greater than 45°C and is in a state of constant temperature rise, start turning the heap with the help of a cow dung organic fertilizer turner. The main purpose of turning the heap at this time is to stir the beneficial fermentation bacteria on the surface to the inside, and at the same time bring oxygen into the inside to avoid hypoxia from affecting the normal decomposing process. Turn the heap once every 2 to 3 days. The specific turning times should also be based on the temperature change in the heap. The compost temperature should be controlled at 50°C to 60°C as much as possible. At this time, the activity of beneficial fermenting bacteria is the greatest, and the fermentation rate is also fast.
5. Static decomposition: When the temperature drops below 40 °C and is in the slow cooling stage, it is necessary to stop turning and tossing. And wait to decompose into small molecular organic matter that can be directly absorbed and utilized by plant growth. The decomposed cow dung organic fertilizer is brown or black in color, has no odor and has a slight fermentation aroma.
6. Secondary crushing: Long-term standing for rot will lead to agglomeration. Even if the stem is too long, it will have certain toughness even if it is completely rotted. It will affect the root growth and seed germination of seedlings in the field.
