Feeding
Dry sodium carbonate powder with a controlled moisture content (usually less than 5%) is fed into the hopper.
Compaction and Forming
The material passes between two counter-rotating rollers that apply high pressure. The roller surfaces are equipped with specific molds or cavities designed to shape the material.
Granulation Process
Under pressure, sodium carbonate particles are compressed into dense sheets or ribbons. The mechanical force bonds the particles together without needing water or additional adhesives.
Granule Sizing
The compacted sheets are then broken, cut, and sized into uniform granules through a granulating system.
Screening and Recycling
The granules are screened to ensure uniformity. Oversized or undersized materials are returned to the feeding system for re-granulation.
