Rotary Drum Granulator

The Rotary Drum Granulator works on the principle of agglomeration wet granulation. The process includes:

1. Feeding: Raw materials (powder or small particles) are fed into the rotating drum.
2. Spraying & Wetting: A liquid binder or water is sprayed onto the materials inside the drum to form a wet surface.
3. Granulation Process: As the drum rotates, materials tumble, roll, and stick together under centrifugal force and gravity. This rolling motion encourages particles to collide and bind together to form granules.
4. Drying & Polishing: While rotating, the formed granules grow larger and become more rounded.
5. Discharge: Finished granules are discharged from the drum and may be further dried, cooled, and screened.
