The Crawler Type Compost Turner is an advanced piece of composting equipment designed for aerobic fermentation of organic waste.   • Ground Windrow Composting
    Organic materials are piled in long strips (windrows) on flat ground.

  • Crawler Movement
    The machine moves forward using crawler tracks, allowing it to maneuver easily over the compost piles without needing tracks or grooves.

  • Turning and Mixing
    As the machine moves, its rotating blades or drums turn the materials, breaking them up, mixing them thoroughly, and introducing oxygen into the pile.

  • Aerobic Decomposition
    The turning action promotes aerobic microbial activity, raising the pile’s temperature to 50°C – 70°C, which kills pathogens and accelerates decomposition.

  • Repetition
    The turning process is repeated periodically (every 1-3 days), ensuring uniform fermentation until the composting cycle is complete, usually within 15-20 days.
