The hazards of unfermented chicken manure

If the poultry manure is not decomposed, it can’t be used as organic fertilizer to be applied to the soil and crops. The unfermented poultry manure doesn’t bring nutrition to the crops and soil. Harms of unfermented chicken manure:
1. When the unfermented chicken manure is applied to the soil, it will release methane, ammonia and other toxic gases during the process of fermentation and decomposition. Under the condensation of water vapor, they will be gathered on the leaf, which will damage the leaves!
2. If the chicken manure is not fermented, it will be fermented in the soil. We all know that the fermentation is an exothermic process, so the temperature is higher, which is undoubtedly fatal to the newly planted seedlings and the root is “scorched.” The phenomenon of dead plants will naturally appear.
3.When the unfermented chicken manure is fermented in the soil, the decomposition of organic matter will consume the oxygen in the soil. Therefore, the roots of crops are in an oxygen-deficient state and the growth of plants will be inhibited.
Chicken manure fermented methods:
Method 1: If it is wet chicken manure, you should spread the chicken manure on straw powder or peanut shell powder and sprinkle 0.1% of urea in the pile. Except this, you should also sprinkle 15 kg of superphosphate per ton of straw powder and sprinkle 0.2% of the premix made of rot agent.
The straw powder can be used to adjust the humidity, and it is advisable to make it into the shape of dough. You should turn the compost twice and make it into a pile with a width of 1.5-2 meters, a height of about 1 meter and an unlimited length. And then you need to use a stick to punch the vent holes. You should also cover the pile with a plastic sheet to keep moisture, warm and the efficiency of fertilizer. Other management is the same as that of dry chicken manure fermentation. The attention should be paid to ventilation.
Method 2: Except natural fermentation, chicken manure can also be fermented with organic fermentation cylinder. Fully automated fermentation cylinder ensure the cylinder body maintains a temperature of about 60 degrees by high-temperature aerobic fermentation, so that the hot air in the body can circulate fermentation and reduce energy consumption. The fermentation time is about one week, which is half shorter than the natural fermentation.
